We've removed the generic PIN these bikes normally ship with and replaced it with a code tied to your bike's VIN, held at our end. To get it: email sales@shoreline-ebikes.com.au, we send you a waiver, and the code is released once it comes back completed.

Two things you're agreeing to when you do that. It voids the 6 month warranty in full. And it's for private property, with the landowner's permission — unrestricted, the bike isn't a bicycle, it's an unregistered and uninsured motor vehicle, and that sits with the rider, not with us. We'd rather have that conversation with you before you buy than after.

Beyond that, what's permitted in NSW depends on the rules in force and on how the bike is configured — so we're not going to tell you it's sorted for the road. Check the current requirements with Transport for NSW before you buy, and if you're unsure how they apply to you, ask us before you hand over money rather than after.

Up to 50 km on the 18.2Ah battery. Real-world range depends on rider weight, hills, tyre pressure and how much you pedal. Flat runs around the lake at moderate assist will get you close to the number. Heavy throttle work with a passenger will not.

The hardware is there for it — full-length dual seat, rear foot pegs and a 150 kg max load. Carrying a passenger is a private-property proposition; anywhere else, check what applies before you do it.

Our rule: we'll talk to a parent or guardian before we sell one to anyone under 18. Helmets on, every ride, no exceptions, and riders under 16 should have an adult with them. Age requirements for riding electric bikes in NSW are set by law and worth checking for yourself.

Roughly 6 to 8 hours from flat with the supplied 54.6V 2A charger. The battery is key-removable, so you can pull it out and charge it inside rather than leaving the bike plugged in. Charge it where you'd notice a problem, and don't leave it running overnight.

No. It's assembled, tuned, tested and charged before you arrive. Brakes bedded in, gears indexed, tyres pressured. You ride it out.

You bring it back to us in Warners Bay and talk to the person who sold it to you. The V20 Pro comes with a 6 month warranty, and your rights under Australian Consumer Law sit on top of that and don't expire with it. It's our value model — built to a price, and we're upfront about that — but we carry the common parts and we're a 10 minute drive, not a support ticket.

One exception, stated plainly: requesting the unlock code voids the 6 month warranty in full. Australian Consumer Law rights aren't ours to take away, but running the bike unrestricted puts any failure that follows from it on you.

Two ways. Afterpay splits it into four instalments and you ride away the same day — approval and limits are set by them, not us, so check your account limit first, because $1,699 is above the starting limit on a lot of new accounts.

Lay-by is the other route, and it works the way lay-by has always worked: we hold the bike, you pay it down, and it goes home with you once the last payment lands. No credit check and no interest, but you don't take the bike until it's paid in full. We'll put the terms in writing before you pay a cent, including what happens if you want to cancel.
